I'm sure any teacher would appreciate a gift card to a coffee shop but come on people your negativity is outrageous and uncalled for. You are teaching our children to do the right thing well take a look at yourselves.

I realize teachers are under a lot of stress these days, so I guess that explains the grumpiness. Perhaps instead of complaining about these handmade gifts, one could suggest handmade gifts that they would find useful.

I’m a retired teacher working a couple days a week. I’m surprised at how many harsh comments there are from other teachers here. Sure, gift cards are nice, but a thoughtful handmade gift is always welcome. These tend to be the gifts that kids are so excited to give you. What’s not to love about that?

Couldn't you do better with the assortment of patterns. Only one knit, one woven, and one crochet with three seeing projects? All crafts deserve equal treatment. And you committed any cross stitch or embroidery.

The gifts seem thoughtful, however, the comments below are a little harsh. (Teachers prefer a handmade gift card holder with a gift card. I work in a school.)

I'm with Lori, a retired teacher and useless clutter for a classroom in most cases and I can just imagine how grubby the mug cozy would be after a week in a staffroom.

The woven basket & fabric storage bin would be useful for clutter, I would think. These are all things that could be given to anyone as a gift. As a coffee drunker, I especially like the mug cozy.

I'm a teacher, and no, no I wouldn't want to get any more useless clutter such as 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6, and I'd prefer to knit my own fingerless mitts.
